Bretagne and Bretons were formed by the ocean. Living by the ocean, fishing on the ocean and dying in the ocean. Stories of many generations filled this piece of land with beauty and sadness, live and death, inspiration and defeatism. West coast of Brittany, where even grass and bushes have to be tough to survive in never ending salt wind, with tens meter deep cliffs and waves breaking on the coast in dark slow lullaby, that is the best place to meet the ocean the first time, and after that again, and again, and again.

This book will guide you around the Brittany coast. From Saint-Malo guarded by high walls, around pink sculptures on Côte de Granit Rose, Meneham village in Kerlouan, Saint Mathieu with lighthouse and abbey ruin. We will visit tree pearls of Crozon penisula - Cape de la Chèvre, Poin de Pemhir and Ruin of Saint-Pol-Roux Manor. Our journey will finish on Pointe du Raz, the most western point of Brittany.
